About Me

I like color, texture, and most importantly, diversity. Our botanical choices for gardens in California's stunning Mediterranean climate are nearly limitless. Species from South Africa, the Canary Islands, Australia, and Chile all do fantastically in the Bay Area. These climates represent some of the most diverse floristic regions on Earth, and it's why there's always something blooming around the Bay. I specialize in rare species, including succulents as well as California natives.

My interest in horticulture and garden design began at a very young age and it has grown into a lifelong passion. I am a member of the San Francisco Succulent & Cactus Society and have visited many unique habitats and botanical gardens around the world. I've always been attracted to more natural landscapes in gardening with a strong emphasis on sustainability and climate change. I hold a Masters in Environmental Policy & Sustainable Urban Development from Columbia University and a B.Sc. in Sustainable Development from the University of Delaware's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. I have lived and worked abroad in countries including Sri Lanka, Fiji, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe, among others. Now I live in San Francisco and provide customized garden services to clients across the Bay Area. Ask me how I can help you!
